PRIEST'S FAREWELL PARTY
Parishioners of St. Joseph Church on St. Croix said farewell to their pastor of seven years, Fr. Cecil Corneille, with a dinner in the Hospitality Lounge and Learning Center on January 4.
KNIGHTS OF MALTA
Bishop George Murry, SJ, was invested as a Conventual Chaplain ad Honorum of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta, American Association, at a Solemn Mass of Investiture at St. Patrick Cathedral in New York City on November 10. Sean Cardinal O'Malley was principal celebrant and homilist at the Mass.

CHURCHES WELCOME NEW V.l. ADMINISTRATION
Catholic churches hosted a Mass and an ecumenical service for new governor John de Jongh and lieutenant governor Gregory Francis.
An Inaugural Mass was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral on St. Thomas on January 1. A post inaugural ecumenical service was held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on St. John on January 3.

MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY
The St. John Interfaith Coalition will sponsor a Rev.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Remembrance with memorial services at Guy Benjamin School and Franklin A.
