FR. NEAL SCANTLEBURY CELEBRATED EASTER MASS ON WATER ISLAND

Water Island is the 4th U.S. Virgin Island and it is located 1/2 mile from St. Thomas. It's size of 491.5 acres makes it the smallest U.S. Virgin Island. The population is less than 200 and it is all residential. A ferry boat is the only public transportation to and from St. Thomas. The Catholic Diocese of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands helps with the religious lfe of the Water Islanders by having a Mass there at Christmas and Easter. At Christmas, Bishop George Murry S.J. celebrated the Mass. At Easter, Fr. Neal Scantlebury celebrated the Mass and is shown in the photos below. Fr. Scantlebury is the rector at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral on St. Thomas and is also the Chancellor of the Diocese.
