PARISH ANNIVERSARY

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church celebrates the eightieth anniversary
of the building of the church on Sunday, April 9, with Mass celebrated by
Bishop George Murry, SJ, at 11 :00 a.m., followed by a luncheon at 1 :00 p.m.

BISHOP CELEBRATES SPANISH MASS

Bishop George Murry, SJ, celebrated Sunday Mass in Spanish with
Fr. Cecil Corneille, Pastor, and Fr. Ariel Cortes, visiting priest,
at St. Joseph Church on St. Croix on March 12.

SCHOOL BOARD GETS NEW MEMBERS

Bishop George Murry, SJ, appointed new members to serve on the
Board of Directors of St. Joseph High School on St. Croix at their
meeting on March 2. The new members are Tanisha Bailey-Roka,
Glenworth Byron, Marcel Galiber, Mavis Gilchrist, Samuel Gray, Esq.,
Bernice Kight, Pauline Lynch, Pablo O'Neill and Arlene Whyte-Elliot.
They join returning board members Gwendolyn Hall Brady, Esq., Sonia
Jacobs Dow, Fr. Kenneth Gaddy, CSsR, Mary Jane Provost and Leonard
Schwan. Many members are pictured above with Bishop Murry and
Marla Mathew, Principal.
