Parishioners at the Spanish Palm Sunday Mass at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral on St. Thomas waved branches throughout the jovial entrance hymn. Palm Sunday, also known as Passion Sunday, is the beginning of Holy Week. It fell on March 16 this year.

Just as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper, Fr. Louis Kemayou, Administrator of St. Joseph Church on St. Croix, washed the feet of 12 parishioners at the Evening Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, March 20.

 The Hispanic community at Holy Cross Church on St. Croix dramatized the Stations of the Cross in a procession from Sacred Heart Chapel to Holy Cross Church on Good Friday, March 21. Actors protrayed the various characters in costume and action. The Celebration of the Lord's Passion in Spanish followed in the church.

 Pastors can confirm new Catholics at the Easter Vigil. Fr. Patrick Lynch, Pastor of Holy Cross Church on St. Croix, baptized 11 people and confirmed six new Catholics at the Easter Vigil Mass on March 22.
