ESSAY WINNER  

 

Laila Cintron, a 12th grade student at St. Joseph High School on St. Croix, read her speech, "Capital Punishment in American Society," after the school Mass at St. Joseph Church on March 19. The essay won first place in the Rotary Harborside 4-Way Speech Contest on March 15.

 

TEEN HEALTH FORUM

Students at St. Joseph High School on St. Croix participated in a Teen Health Forum on March 19. Pictured above, Alicia Barnes, Assistant Commissioner at the Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) and Fr. Kenneth Gaddy, CSsR, Director of Formation at the Blessed Peter Donders Residence, led a discussion group entitled "Distractions: How to Recognize and Avoid Them" in the library.

 

CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH

 

St. Patrick School on St. Croix held a Black History Talent Show in the St. Gerard Hall on February 27. THE student pictured above danced a ballet.
