YOUTH GROUP HOSTS A PARENTS DAY

The members of Catholic Youth in Action, the youth group at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral on St. Thomas, led a Parents' Pampering and Entertainment Day at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Club House on February 10. The youth sang, danced quadrille and served meals to their parents.

YOUTH CELEBRATE THE HOLY DAYS

Several Virgin Islands parishes reached out in special ways to youth from Lent to Easter. Some parishes set aside special times for Stations of the Cross, retreats, penance services and other activities geared to youth.

Pictured above, youth had their own Stations of the Cross and Celebration of the Lord's Passion at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral on St. Thomas on Good Friday, March 21. The youth read the introductions to the ten general intercessions, usually reserved for the deacon. Very Rev. Neil Scantlebury, Rector, prayed each response.
