Phyllis Spaulding, a docent at the St. George Village Botanical Garden on St. Croix, taught St. Joseph High School biology students on a field trip on May 17.

Students of St. Mary School on St. Croix learned about boat safety on May 17.
Students participated in an educational program and musical presentation under the direction of Don Moors at St. Patrick School on St. Croix on May 15. The program , entitled Ajabu, traced the history of percussion music.
Ss. Peter and Paul School on St. Thomas had two
successful fundraisers recently. The Miami Area Catholic Choir raised
over $6,000 through a concert at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral on
April 13. In addition, Moms Night Out, the annual spaghetti dinner,
raffle and bingo night on Mothers Day weekend, had a landmark year
for participation and fundraising, generating over $10,000 on May 11.
The school will be utilizing some of these funds to renovate its
bathrooms over the summer.
