The Philippine Association of St. Thomas celebrated Philippines Independence Day by attending Sunday Mass at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral on June 10.
Fr. William Montgomery, a priest of the Archdiocese of Washington, is assisting this summer at Holy Family Church on St. Thomas. Fr. Montgomery teaches at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington D.C. He was Principal of St. Joseph High School on St. Croix in 2004 and Administrator of St. Anne Chapel on St. Thomas in 2005.
The Prayer Group at Holy Family Church on St. Thomas will celebrate its 30th anniversary by hosting a charismatic conference on July 6-8. The opening presentations will begin on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Five workshops will be offered on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday Mass at 10:00 a.m. will be followed by a luncheon. Tickets for the luncheon are available for $25.
St. Patrick Church on St. Croix will celebrate its annual Hurricane Supplication Mass at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Shrine on the Mt. Pelier grounds on Sunday, July 15, at 10:00 a.m., followed by an all-day parish picnic. This Mass replaces the regular 10:00 a.m. Mass at the parish that day.
St. Ann Church on St. Croix will celebrate the feast of Ss. Joachim and Ann, parents of Mary, with three nights of conferences on July 24-26 at 7:00 p.m. The patronal Mass will be on Sunday, July 29, at 9:30 a.m.
